The lot we have chosen overlooks one of the two lakes in the neighborhood and the 40+ acre park. We gave up a lot of yard space to have a huge covered patio with a great view. So what do you think?

We've recently moved into our new home in Chace Lake, re-purposed from an old golf course along the Cahaba River in Hoover. This site was originally started to post progress of the house, but now we’re making it home! We've decided to accessorize the house by using recycled products, sustainable products, and anything we can find in a dumpster! We'll post some of our accomplishments here for all to see. Looks/sounds like a really nice area. I know you're excited. I thought Cyn and I went overboard with the Nikon digital SLR camera that we bought each other for Christmas but now I don't feel so bad. You're getting a house for Christmas - wow!
ReplyDeleteWe're starting to plan/figure out what to do when we get to P'Cola (if we actually get there). Not sure weather to build or try to buy a bargain. Also have the house to deal with in JAX. Guess it will depend on market conditions at that point in time.
What does BLOG stand for? Is it an acronym? I think this is the first one I've ever been on! Can I call myself a "blogger" now?
